In July 2012, an agreement was struck with Prof. Dr. Wolfram Reiss, Professor of Comparative Religion at the Evangelical Theological Faculty at the University of Vienna, Austria to offer CAWU interns the opportunity to contribute to research published with the academic serial Anwendungsorientierte Religionswissenschaften (applied religious science). This was facilitated in order to help our interns gain academic credit and highlight the quality of their work.
Prof. Reiss has been a close friend of CAWU Vice-President Cornelis Hulsman stretching back to the 1980s, when their paths crossed due to their similar passion for Muslim-Christian relations. Prof. Reiss' has contributed with a number of articles in Arab West Report.
